LUNDY CANYON
MILL CREEK FALLS

An
eastern Sierra hike from Saddlebag Lake to Lundy Canyon is a
stunning but dangerous trip. I would like to take this opportunity to
ask the U.S. Forest Service to please post a warning note in a clear
plastic sleeve stapled to the trailhead sign where the ferry drops
hikers off on Saddlebag Lake. A simple statement informing them
that the trail into Lundy Canyon is not maintained and not
recommended. This would cost perhaps 25 cents, take 5 minutes
and might save people from injury or even death due to falling rock.
