ENGLAND & SCOTLAND
Sisters, Mothers, Grandmothers,
          Great Grandmothers
In my lifetime I have never encountered
more gentle, loving souls as these
wonderful sisters possessed. Born in the
Northumberland Village of Ashington,
England, my Mother Ann Hudson
Groves, and my Aunt Mollie
Douglas-Henry (right), live on inside the
hearts and minds of all who were
blessed to have known them. I lovingly
dedicate this page to the memory of their
eternal souls.

THE HUNTER AND THE DEVIL
Right, from the crypt at
Canterbury Cathedral,
England 1982. These
beautiful works of stone
were once part of the
original facade of the
Cathedral. Below,
THE
GARGOYLES OF YORK
MINSTER, 1982.
Taken with
a 200mm telephoto lens
these gorgoyles were
struck by lightening July 9,
1984. I do not know their
fate as a devastating fire
followed, damaging and
destroying much of the
Minsters south facade.
YORK MINSTER, YORK, ENGLAND 1982
There is no certainty that my
Ashington Family ever visited York
Minster. But given the close proximity
I feel it likely they would have.
